Cut into 1/2-inch pieces
Method:
In colonial times, often the only sweetener available was maple syrup.
Prepare and bake sweet potatoes as directed.
Slip off skins.
Cut potatoes into 1/2-inch pieces.
Cook remaining ingredients in 10-inch skillet about 6 minutes or until apple is tender.
Add sweet potatoes.
Mix carefully until coated.
