Green Rice

Serves:

Ingredients:


1 c Onion; chopped
1 c Celery; finely chopped
6 tb Margarine; melted
10 oz Broccoli, chopped; thawed
8 oz Cheese, pasteurized process;
-cubed
10 3/4 oz Soup, cream of mushroom
3/4 c Water
2 c Rice, regular; uncooked
ds Garlic powder
ds Parsley flakes
Salt; to taste
Pepper; to taste

Method:


Saute onion and celery in melted margarine until clear.
Add broccoli and cheese; heat until cheese melts.
Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
Spoon into a 2-quart casserole dish; cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Uncover; reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake an additional 10 minutes.
