Golden Panfried Mushrooms
Ingredients:

Pound small mushrooms

Egg, beaten
1/2
c
Dry bread crumbs
1/3
c
Margarine or butter

Onion, chopped
(about 1/2 cup)
Method:
Prepare whole mushrooms as directed.
Dip mushrooms into egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
Heat margarine in 12-inch skillet over medium heat until hot.
Cook mushrooms and onions in margarine 7 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
