Method:
Prepare corn as directed.
Cut enough kernels from corn to measure 3 cups.
Heat margarine in 1-1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat.
Cook onion and chili in margarine about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened.
Stir in corn and salt.
Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until corn is tender.
Stir in cheese.
6 SERVINGS; 160 CALORIES PER SERVING.
To Microwave: Mix corn, 2 tablespoons water, the margarine, onion, chili and salt in 2-quart microwavable casserole.
Cover tightly and microwave on high 6 to 9 minutes.
