Dried figs, cut into fourths

Margarine or butter,
Softened
Method:
A sweet, subtle combination of figs and caramelized almonds makes these.
Cook almonds, sugar and orange peel over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted and almonds are coated; cool.
Break almonds apart; reserve.
Prepare and cook carrot slices as directed - except add figs.
Mix all ingredients.
