Baked Papaya
Ingredients:

Firm, but ripe papayas

Pieces of vanilla bean

Brown sugar
Method:
Baked Papaya Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Peel the papaya halves, cut side up, in a baking dish with about 1/2 inch of water over the bottom.
Dot the center of each papaya-half with a small piece of vanilla bean, 1 tsp of butter and 2 tsps of brown sugar.
Bake until tender, about 45 minutes.
