Turnip And Bacon Soup

Streaky bacon, rinds off

Chopped onions

lb
Chopped potatoes

Chopped turnips

Stock
Fat for frying
Method:
Chop and fry bacon and onions.
Add potatoes, turnips and stock.
Cook gently until vegetables are soft.
Adjust seasoning and serve.
