White Sauce

Milk
Method:
Heat margarine in 1-1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat until melted.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
Stir in milk.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
1 CUP SAUCE; 25 CALORIES PER SERVING.
To Microwave: Place margarine in 4-cup microwavable measure.
Microwave uncovered on high 15 to 30 seconds or until melted.
Stir in flour, salt, pepper and milk.
Microwave uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute with wire whisk or fork, until thickened.
