Best Butterscotch Pudding

Brown sugar

Cornstarch

Milk, cold

Vanilla extract

Butter
Method:
In a medium saucepan, thoroughly mix sugar and cornstarch.
Gradually stir in milk until blended.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens and boils.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and butter.
Pour into serving dishes and cool at room temperature for 1 hour.
Refrigerate until serving time.
