Cooked Salad Dressing
Ingredients:

All-purpose flour

Sugar

Dry mustard

Egg yolks, slightly beaten

Vinegar

Margarine or butter
Method:
Mix flour, sugar, mustard and salt in 2-quart saucepan.
Gradually stir in milk.
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Gradually stir at least half of the hot mixture into egg yolks.
Stir in vinegar and margarine.
Cover and refrigerate.
ABOUT 2 CUPS DRESSING; 20 CALORIES PER TABLESPOON.
To Microwave: Mix flour, sugar, mustard and salt in 4-cup microwavable measure.
Gradually stir in milk.
Microwave uncovered 3 to 4 minutes longer, stirring every 30 seconds or until boiling.
Gradually stir at least half of the hot mixture into egg yolks.
Stir into hot mixture in cup.
Microwave 45 seconds to 1 minute 15 seconds or until boiling.
Stir in vinegar and margarine.
