Drop Scones

Ingredients:


115 gms plain flour
1 level tsp baking powder
1 egg
2 tsp ghee
2 tsp sugar
4 to 5 tbsp milk (approx.)
a pinch salt
jam to serve
ghee for deep frying

Method:


Sieve the flour with the baking powder and salt.
Put the milk, egg, ghee and sugar to make a thick batter.
Add a spoonful of the mixture in a shallow frying pan.
Put a little ghee and deep fry on both sides to make a beautifully puffed scone.
Repeat the same procedure for the remaining mixture.
Ready to serve hot with jam.
