Cream of Lettuce Soup
Ingredients:
3 bundles lettuce
2 onions
3 teacups milk
2 tbsp maida
2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Cut the lettuce and onions.
Heat the butter in a vessel, put the chopped vegetables
and saute for some time.
Combine the milk and maida and put to the vegetable mixture together with 3
teacups of water.
Cook for 10 minutes. Blend the mixture in a liquidizer and strain the soup.
Heat for some time, put salt and pepper.
Ready to serve.
