French Ham Souffle

Chives,finely chopped

Ham,finely ground

Eggs,separated
Method:
1.
Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in flour, then slowly add milk, cooking until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.
2.
Add seasonings, cheese, chives and ham.
3.
Add beaten egg yolks; mix well.
4.
Cool mixture; then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
5.
Bake in an ungreased 2-quart casserole in preheated 300'F.
oven 1 1/4 hours.
6.
Serve at once.
