2 1/2 Ounces smoked sausage

Frankfurters and Cooked Smoked Sausage.
Frankfurters or other cooked smoked sausage links do not require cooking; they need only be heated to serving temperature (140 degrees) if they are to be served hot.
Do not pierce with fork.
145 CALORIES PER 1-1/2-OUNCE FRANKFURTER OR 265 CALORIES PER 2-1/2-OUNCE SMOKED SAUSAGE.
To Broil: Set oven control to broil.
Brush frankfurters with margarine, butter or shortening.
Broil with tops about 3 inches from heat, turning with tongs until evenly brown.
To Microwave: Pierce frankfurters or sausages and place on paper towel-lined microwavable plate.
Cover loosely and microwave on high as directed by timetable.
To Panfry: Cook frankfurters in small amount of fat over medium heat, turning with tongs, until brown.
To Simmer: Drop frankfurters into boiling water; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes (depending on size) until hot.
