Sour Cream Cookies

Margarine or butter, softene

Shortening

Method:
*if using self-rising flour omit Baking powder, baking soda And salt.
Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Mix 1 cup sugar, the shortening, margarine, vanilla and egg.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
Roll each part 1/4-inch thick on lightly floured surface.
Cut with 2-inch cookie cutter.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until no indentation remains when touched; cool.
4 TO 5 DOZEN COOKIES; 65 CALORIES PER COOKIE.
