Orange Raisin Squares

Serves:

Ingredients:

1 c Sugar
1 c Raisins
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Sour cream
2 ea Eggs
1/2 c Shortening
1 ea Orange - small - rind of

Method:

Add soda to cream.
Grate orange peel.
Pour hot water over raisins, then grind.
Bake in large flat pan.
Roll in powdered sugar or use orange icing.
Note: No temperature give.
Assume a slow 325 F.
