Butterscotch Cookies
Ingredients:

Lard and butter mixed -
creamed

Brown sugar - light - rolled

Eggs

Baking soda

Cream tartar

Vanilla

Flour
Method:
Knead into loaves.
Let stand over night in cool place.
Slice one-half inch thick.
Bake in moderate oven.
NOTE: Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F.
Recipe called for 6 - 8 cups flour.
