Unbleached All-purpose Flour

Sugar

Vegetable Shortening

Salt

Baking Powder

Cornmeal
Method:
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Stir to blend well.
With a pastry blender, cut in shortening until evenly distributed.
Add cornmeal and mix well.
Put in a large airtight container.
Label as CORNMEAL MIX an store in a cool, dry, place.
Use within 12 weeks.
Makes about 10 1/2 cups of CORNMEAL MIX.
