Blueberry Lemon Bread

Grated lemon peel

Milk

Fresh blueberries

Lemon juice

Method:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease bread loaf pan.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl.
Cream butter with sugar in large bowl.
Add eggs.
Beat well.
Add lemon peel.
Mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Fold in blueberries.
Spoon batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake until golden brown, about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, bring hot lemon mixture ingredients to boil in small saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Pierce top of hot loaf several times with a toothpick (or fork).
Pour hot lemon mixture over loaf in pan.
Cool 30 minutes in pan on rack.
Turn bread out of pan and cool completely on rack.
